Christine Hagan graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics. She currently serves as Associate Director of Federal Relations for the University. In this role, she is tasked with lobbying Congress on university priorities. She is also trusted to advise university faculty, staff, and administrators on federal issues, with a focus on legislative, regulatory, and policy developments concerning the university's strategic goals. Previously, Christine served as a Congressional aide for two appropriators and a member of House leadership. During that time, Christine was responsible for a portfolio including education policy, community project funding, and appropriations. Prior to her work on the Hill, Christine served as a legislative aide in the Maryland House of Delegates.
