The University of Maryland Alumni Association is proud to serve the university through advocacy in action. Through two distinct programs—UMD Champions and the Terp Advocacy Network—we are working to empower alums and supporters to raise their voices on behalf of the University of Maryland.

No matter where you are, you can make a difference as a member of the University of Maryland alumni network. As a UMD Champion, you can help raise awareness and positive recognition of the university by ensuring that our story is shared nationwide and globally. As a member of the Terp Advocacy Network, you can help grow support for legislative and policy positions that advance the University’s mission and goals right here in Maryland and in our nation’s capital.

You choose your involvement. Whether through social media, e-mail, in-person events or legislative forums, you’ll have lots of opportunities to make a difference as part of one or both of these programs.
